A Gas Discharge Visualization Device (GDV) is used to demonstrate the practitioner’s ability to create change in both their personal field and in a client’s field. The GDV uses a small amount of electricity to cause a gas emission corona to be produced by the practitioner’s hands. This corona is then analyzed to confirm changes in the body. The client is asked to place their fingers in the machine to create a GDV image of their field, then perform a #healing #energywork after which new images are taken. The test is looking for a change in the GDV image that correlates with the focus of healing.
The purpose of this test is to determine if the practitioner can create a physiological change in a client’s field as measured by the GDV in 40 minutes (5 for Cynthia). The GDV was developed by the Russians for use on the space station and to train Olympic athletes. It is a diagnostic device in 28 countries with over 750 research studies to it’s credit. It is considered an experimental device in the US primarily because it uses the #meridian system as part of the measures. It looks at the gas emission from the fingertips and using the spectrum, density, area, and #fractal information on the gasses emitted from the eight sectors of each of the ten fingers and mapping that to the physical structure of the body.
A baseline measure is taken of the client and an analysis of the baseline image is done. Then the practitioner must produce a physiological change in an area selected by the investigator within the time given. A second set of measures is taken at the end of the allocated time 5 minutes and the data is compared to confirm that a clear change has taken place in the designated area.
