Energy Medicine
Each energy medicine session uses various techniques, the techniques that are used depends entirely on the energy state of your body, and your body’s optimal requirements for the healing and the timing of that healing. Many of the main healing techniques used are as follows:
Kinesiology and Eden Energy Medicine:
During a session, Kinesiology is the underpinning of all that is done, each session uses the kinesiological concepts of muscle testing, mudras and energy body/muscle balancing to integrate all other techniques.
Kinesiology is a diagnostic and treatment technique which originally branched off from Chiropractic techniques used in the 1960s. It is a blend of ancient Chinese Medicine information and modern western Chiropractic techniques. It is based around the Chinese Medicine concept that the body has a system of channels or meridians through which the body's energy flows and when this flow is unimpeded and balanced then good health follows.
Using muscle testing the Kinesiologist is able to determine where blockages and impediments to flow may be occurring with regard to an issue - physical or emotional, then using various massage, acupressure, vibrational and homeopathic techniques they can re-instate the flow and balance to the body. Once the natural flow and balance of the body and its energy systems is restored the body's own healing system and immune system can come into play and bring the body to full health.
Integrated Therapeutic Alignment (ITA)
Where Kinesiology testing and concepts underpin every session, it is Integrated Therapeutic Alignment (ITA) that is the bulk of each balancing of the energy body and the self during a session. ITA is a holistic healing and self development modality that works with every subtle energy body and the underlying cellular memories, blockages and limiting beliefs that are contributing to any sense of imbalance. Imbalance is seen in the body as symptoms such as disease, depression, pain, infertility, lack of achieving goals, insomnia to name a few.
From the ITA perspective symptoms are seen as information that the body is providing that indicate a deeper issue, usually an emotional concept or limiting belief that you are holding. The ITA modality works synergistically with many layers of the energy body and subconscious mind using a sequenced pattern of movements that ultimately awakens the subconscious mind and encourages it to let go of the limiting beliefs, behaviours and attitudes you are holding or working with that are keeping you in a state of mis-alignment.
Prior to an ITA Energy Medicine Treatment, a detailed consultation and assessment is performed to gather information from the patient so that the practitioner can work towards achieving the patients goals & anticipated outcomes.
During an ITA Energy Medicine Treatment, the practitioner will use :
- Touch – the application of touch to certain points on the physical body, such as acupressure points or meridian pathways.
- Non-Touch – hands off the body to move energy to align the physical and energetic bodies of the patient.
- Patients lay in a comfortable and relaxed way on the massage table, either on their back or if treatments are on the back they would lay on their stomach, falling asleep during the process is a common occurrence.
